Purpose
The Research Cultures Survey Steering Group will be responsible, on behalf of Research Strategy Group, for agreeing the design, deployment, analysis and communication of outcomes of the UoE Research Cultures Survey 2026 and beyond.
The Survey Steering Group will support the development and depolyment of the survey with their own expertise and in securing resources if needed.
Governance & Operation
- The Research Cultures Survey Steering Group will report to Research Strategy Group, which reports to University Executive and Senate.
- The Group will, through its membership, maintain close links with the Research Ethics and Integrity Group (REIRG), Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and its sub-committees (EDIC), the Researcher Development Concordat Implementation Group, the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Committee, the Staff Experience Committee, Technician Steering Committee and the Doctoral College Management Group.
- The group will aim to promote transparency, inclusion and engagement in its working by making the agenda, notes, actions and papers of the meetings available via this committee site
Meeting Frequency
- The group will meet every three months.
- The committee members may be required to undertake work outside of meetings via shared documents/teams sites.
