The Learning Technology Advisory Group is a sub-group of the Senatus Learning and Teaching Committee (LTC). Its role is to provide critical expertise in the use of technology for learning and teaching to LTC, in order to guide strategic decision making in this area. The group's key activities are:  
  • Conducting regular cross-University Horizon Scanning events to map educational technology trends and assess their impact on the University.
  • Working with academic and support colleagues across the University, to maintain awareness of current and upcoming strategic and development issues impacting on digital education.
  • To provide guidance and advice relating to relative priority, planning and development of digital education initiatives, sharing opportunities for collaboration and funding.
  • To provide critical analysis of the outcomes of these to the Learning and Teaching Committee and other relevant units.
  Meetings are held typically 4 times each year and where possible aligned to the LTC schedule. Membership includes invitation to participate in the horizon scanning (sub-committee) events that occur twice yearly. false,false,1
